Hello, creators!

Kiss and Tale Romance Bookshop is proud to support other small businesses and entrepreneurs.  While we primarily source most of our non-book items through Faire Wholesale for ease of invoicing, we understand that not all great creators sell through their platform.  If you are interested, you can use our referral link here to open a free account with Faire today.  Both Kiss and Tale Romance Bookshop and the creator get referral credit for using this link.  Having a shop on Faire is not mandatory in order to work with us.

Kiss and Tale Romance Bookshop carries a variety of non-book items in the store, however, we are a romance exclusive bookshop and lean towards bookish and romance related themes.  Priority will be given to local artisans and non-book items that fit our store brand and gaps in our inventory.

If you would like us to consider your merchandise for our shelves, please fill out the Merchandise Consignment Request Form.  The form asks you to include the following:

• Your name
• The name of your business
• Images of the product
• A link to your website, social media accounts and/or wholesale catalogue
• Conformation that no Generative AI has been used in the creation or promotion of your products

Consignment Terms:

• Consignment terms are 50/50.  We will pay you 50% of the retail price for any of your items sold.
• Consignment lasts for one quarter (renewable).  If you start in the middle of a quarter your consignment will remain active until the end of the following quarter.  Consignor will provide initial inventory at the start of consignment and is responsible for restock. 
• Consignment payouts will be completed quarterly within the first week of the month following the end of the quarter.  Payouts will be done in January, April, July and October.
• We review sales performance every quarter.  If we feel sales are too low, the agreement will be terminated or if the consignor chooses to terminate the consignment agreement, and you will be asked to pick up any remaining stock within 30 days of the end of the consignment agreement.  If the consignor fails to contact us within 30 days following the termination of the agreement, any remaining stock will become property of Kiss and Tale Romance Bookshop and will be donated.  For non-local creators you can send us a shipping label and we will ship your items back to you.
• Marketing is the responsibility of the creator/consigner

Please know that we are working as fast as we can through all of the requests and it may take up to 3-4 weeks to receive a response from us.  We are not able to discuss merchandise or consignment via phone, direct email or in-person visits.  Please use the Merchandise Consignment Request Form to contact us about all merchandising opportunities.
